 Through the extreme tests that we have been performing on these new plates, we have continued to be amazed with the durability and functionality they offer.
The Z-Plate is developed with the goal of reducing welding, which robs the aluminum of the tension or strength. A metals original tension is decreased when it is heated, making the aluminum soft with little "MEMORY" for it to return to its original shape after being stressed from an impact. By accomplishing this goal we have developed a swingarm plate which not only holds up far better than any plate to date, but also absorbs more of the impact by allowing the plate to flex and "SPRINGBACK" to its original form after the impact. By transferring less of the impact on to the ATV & the rider, the ATV maintains better control and balance after an impact.
The Z-Plate swingarm plate is offered in three versions to meet a variety of needs. The 1/4" (.250) thick full coverage, the 3/16" (.190) thick full coverage, and the1/8" (.125) light weigt Duner/MX which will not include the shock linkage coverage.
